Zeiss OPMI Pentero End of Support Coverage

Here at Prescott's, we wanted to provide some additional information around the, “END OF SUPPORT” letter you have received or will receive from Carl Zeiss notifying you of end of support for your OPMI Pentero Classic microscope system (version 2.1 or Higher). We are happy to inform you that Prescott’s Inc will continue to support all versions of the Pentero microscope at no additional cost. It is, and always has been the standard practice of Carl Zeiss to end support on all microscope systems in order to usher in their newest models.

The core functions and features of the Pentero remain unchanged. Minor changes to the computer system components are the primary differences in the newest versions of the Pentero. The changes are not noticeable on a user level. Prescott’s, Inc will continue to support the earliest versions of the Pentero as well as the newest versions on the market.

There is no reason to feel pressure to purchase a new system. However, if you are interested in purchasing a new system please contact us for system availability and buyback options for your old system. We will ensure you get top dollar for your trade in.

For added security, Prescott’s offers 4 levels of Service agreements for all models of Zeiss Pentero.
